Q: I have found evidence of termites in my home. I have no idea of how to get started on getting rid of them. Should I use the tent and gas or the microwave method? Does the whole house have to be treated or can it be spot-treated? Is it best to get at least three different bids or recommendations?

| A: Your first step is to call a reputable termite co. to do a complete termite inspection for the whole structure. Some time they could treat the infestation locally if the infestation is not wide spread at a fraction of cost of full tenting. Otherwise they have to tent the whole structure.Tenting and gas is the more sure way to eliminate the infestation. | |
